I wrote to Claire and she is thinking of an x-ray on her wrist to make sure it is not cf related osteoarthritis (although she is rather young) Hayley's death was to say the least an absolute shock. I cried for days and it was our opportunity to tell Mellie the real truth about what could and does happen to some people with cf. She was very sad but probably a little young to understand the full impact of it. We were going to go to the funeral however Mellie had an appointment with the Azithromycin nurse that day and we couldn't cancel as she needed more tablets. I sent & a card and told them what an inspiration Hayley had been to us all. So very young!! If you could a, could you email me privately re why she went down so fast and what the docs said about her hearing loss. It must be so hard for , I just cannot imagine being a child and dealing with the cold hard facts of life that we find so hard to deal with as adults. And it must be hard for you, knowing that he needs to keep his treatments up. Chin up mate, remember what I said in hospital ... never lose hope... at the end of the day, it's all we have. Cheers Cath
