this study suggests that natural head growth is primarily front to back versus all around... saying that kids' heads get longer over time, significantly decreasing the cephalic index... i didn't find it on my own; it was from the older plagio group, but i just felt compelled to pass on this new feeling of hope i have after reading it... my boys both wore DOC bands, but still have some assymetry and flatness in places... we see a DO to hopefully see some changes, but now i can look forward to some natural improvement over time... i teared up when i read it because it made me so happy... best wishes to you and your little one...http://smartech. gatech.edu/ bitstream/ 1853/22061/ 4/presentation_ wnotes.pdf(you may have to paste it in your browser and delete any spaces.. that's what i did

I have actually posted the study/presentation in our Files section

under Plagio Studies and Research, it's the last file in that folder

calles presentationw/notes.pdf. It is a pretty small study (only 23

kids I think), but an interesting read, especially with regard to

brachy.
