Guest guest
, I do grill up a huge bag of chicken breasts, hamburger patties, and sausage patties for freezing. I know that a lot of people do the same with baked goods. My sister in law makes 5 gallons of yogurt at one time because she has 6 children. Obviously that lasts her like 2 weeks, but it works to do a huge amount. Also, granola can be stored air tight for one month, so make up a huge batch. I know that the veterans can give you even better suggestions, but this is a start. Guest guest
, I bought this neat cookbook that is all hamburger recipes. A whole bunch of different ideas for things to mix into your hamburgers to make them taste different. Of course, not all of the recipes are SCD legal, but I think the vast majority of them can be SCD very easily just by substituting ingredients. Something like that might be very handy. That way you'll have a variety of tastes with minimal work. Making a huge batch of soup, then storing in single serving containers would probably be very useful as well. I would easy on the trail mix unless you've been on the diet for a long time. Eating a lot of whole nuts may not be the best idea unless gut-healing is pretty close to finished. And freezing the baked goods is a great idea. They thaw very well. Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/
