carol,

at the time i posted this bread recipe collection, this recipe had been

posted on a website for all to see. you are refering to my post from

january 7th, 2005, before their book was published.

at the time i was assuming that any SCD recipes that had been available

at an SCD recipe sight had been with the permission of the author. i

was doing this as a service to help others with finding a bread recipe

that would meet their needs. to date i dont think i have ever posted a

recipe from a recipe book without permission from an author nor would

i. i surprised it took you a year and a half to notice this post of

mine. i would be happy to copy this post and delete this particular

recipe and then have the moderators of the pecanbread group delete this

particular post because it was never my intention to violate any

copyright law.

Donna,

When I asked Jodi and if I could share recipes from the cooking classes we

did

together (besides my own,) they explained they wanted to reserve all for any

future book

they might write. As it happens, Raman received this recipe beforehand and

says she

recalls sending it so the Souflle Bread Recipe so it is OK to share. We did make

it in

cooking class.

The girls were happy though that I was being a bit of a watchdog.

not me. i am actually insulted. i was accused of violating copy right

law by posting something before it had been published.

I apologized. I will ask if any other recipes in the book were released for

public use.

Perhaps that will help. It was not a case of " before it was published. " it was

because it was

in the already published book and I was asked not to post any of the recipes in

the book

or those used in the cooking classes without permission and was following those

instructions. I did not know Jodi gave out that one to Raman Prassad at SCD Diet

before

the book.

I have asked Raman to plut the recipe back on his site. The thing is-- I was

made aware of

the restrictions without knowing Jodi shared the recipe before the book came out

last year.
