Guest guest
" Just be careful with your purchase. Good Morning America had this big spiel on the fact that many kids' lunchbags/box liners tested positive for lead. " Either Land's End or LL Bean or both that were guaranteeing that their insulated lunch boxes are free of lead. Guest guest
I bought some at target that had lead. It was a mainstream brand- I think igloo. I called igloo and first they said no lead and then I questioned them further and they connected me to someone that said acceptable levels of lead. I used a lead testing kit on them and it did not show positive. I wonder what the level of detection is with those kits. Now you've got me wondering whether they do actually have lead in them, but that it's below detectable levels... Guest guest
Jody I emailed them and faxed them multiple times with no response. Then I called and the first person told me no lead. So I said where can I get this in writing. Then when connected to the second person, the second person said acceptable levels of lead. Then I said please provide me in writing how much lead, why acceptable, anything on this and here is my address and name. igloo said that they would send. Igloo never sent anything. I returned the used lunch boxes to target with copy of my correspondence to igloo. Hope this helps Rob's mom Re: OT: quality of lunch bags " I bought some at target that had lead.
