Guest guest
Congratulations Sharon! I am sure it is nice to have your baby home. With a two year old too, you will definitely have your hands full. Best wishes. My prayers are with you that your children will have good health considering the cards they have been dealt. Tina W. mother of , 17yoa wcf and 26yoa nocf Jack is home!! Our new baby, Jack, is home from the hospital! He was in ICU for two weeks with meconium blockage. The doctors choose to wait ten days to give him time to clear the meconium on his own without surgery and with the help of enemas. Surgery was scheduled on the afternoon of his ninth day since he was not improving. That morning the x-ray showed remarkable improvement and he had passed all of the meconium (praise God!). He started to breastfeed the next day and he came home three days later! Thank you to all who offered advice about what to expect with meconium illeus. Guest guest
That is so great. As Zach's pediatric surgeon said " He dodged my bullet! " Zach didn't have surgery either. I am sure you are glad to get him home. Having your baby live anywhere but in your own home is stressful, even if you know it is for the best. Enjoy! Enjoy!
