hahahahahah.......Tyler was (and still is) a gaseous boy so the only time he

smelled good was just after a bath :) Hopefully Jack will smell good all the

time :)

Congrats on baby Jack's safe arrival....

Congratulations Sharon! I am sure it is nice to have your baby home. With

a two year old too, you will definitely have your hands full. Best wishes.

My prayers are with you that your children will have good health considering

the cards they have been dealt.

Jack is home!!

Our new baby, Jack, is home from the hospital! He was in ICU for two

weeks with meconium blockage. The doctors choose to wait ten days to

give him time to clear the meconium on his own without surgery and

with the help of enemas. Surgery was scheduled on the afternoon of

his ninth day since he was not improving. That morning the x-ray

showed remarkable improvement and he had passed all of the meconium

(praise God!). He started to breastfeed the next day and he came home

three days later! Thank you to all who offered advice about what to

expect with meconium illeus.

I am so very glad you have had these results. Our ERIN had to have the

surgery .She was 2 days old. She did fine . BUT , it was some time

before we got her home. We just stayed there with her at the hospital.

(it wasn't in same town as they lived )

She is now in college (2nd year) . Doing great. Was the state cross

country first place runner (girls) her senior year of high school & is

over 6 ft tall. Sooooooooooooo, you have much to look forward to

:)hehe...I send all the great wishes to you & your precious family

Have a wonderful home warming

Sharon,

Congradulations on bringing your new little boy home. I am so glad

that Jake did not have to have surgery. What a blessing huh? I hope

that you all can get some rest now and really enjoy your new addition to

your family.

That is so great. As Zach's pediatric surgeon said " He dodged my

bullet! " Zach didn't have surgery either.

I am sure you are glad to get him home. Having your baby live

anywhere but in your own home is stressful, even if you know it is

for the best.

Enjoy! Enjoy!
