Okay you ladies and gents,

For those of you wondering if I fell off the planet, let me give my

update (which isn't much).

My energy level has really gone up up up and away!

I just got back from Florida (ville, Gainesville and Taveras) visiting

family and friends that thought I had made a mistake having the surgery.

They are all so happy for me now. Most could not understand that it was lap

and figured I'd be in bed for weeks. They all keep saying that they can see

the loss already and keep trying to get me to weigh for them, which I won't

til my PCP appt. in Sept.

My sister says she notices how much easier I move around. I have

actually gone into stores shopping and this I haven't done in years ( always

just sent my daughter in and trusted her to get what I wanted ). It is great

to look for myself and I feel like a kid in a candy store!

I am still on liquids and don't feel hungry at all. I do still think

about my favorite food (macaroni and red eye gravy) though.

Today I head off to Roanoke Virginia and take my daughter to Hollins

University. I am so happy to be able to make this trip with her as she is my

best friend. She has been there for me so much and now I get to return the

favor!

For those of you that have to get down to the 350 limit, I must tell you

that the 12 day diet is what got me there and also the parsley tea. Barb's

hubby Tom (Barb from Dr. R's office) is the one who saved my life just as

much as Dr. R did. He is the one that turned me on to the way to get down to

the 350 mark. THANKS TOM and BARB! You have been my guardian angels!

Those of you fighting the insurance, keep on them, they will pay. You

just have to figure out the one thing they really need and get it to them.

BE persistent!

I will be also going to our mountain house the middle of Sept. through

October. I love to visit Otto, NC and the surrounding areas. So anyone near

there just email me and maybe we can get together while I am there.

Sorry this is so long but I did not get my tongue bypassed :-P Maybe

I could get Dr. R to do a tongue tuck next time. :-!
