I am not a dr. but the only thing that I have found is that the

pred. is the thing that gets a flare under control. Most of us take

a secondary med besides the pred.

I take Imuran which is an anti-rejection drug. I only have to take

the pred now when I have a major flare. My flares are few and far

between due to the Imuran.

Each of our bodies are different and we all react to different meds

differently. It is kind of a trial an error thing with the meds.
