Guest guest
You know that you are know a real member of the Salty Old Fools' Club when the following things recur in your daily life: 1) you cannot remember how much of anything that you nebulise is, even though the instructions are clearly on the container; 2) you can barely remember what a nebulizer or compressor might be; 3) you really cannot figure out how many enzymes to take with how many grams of fat, protein, and wonder whether you ever did know; 4) You get ready to spray a corticosteroid spray into your nose, or simi lar substance and start to aim for your ear; 5) You do the reverse with the ear medication and are about to snort the stuff; 6) You are not very sure what you took this morning, if anything, and to make it worse, those enzymes go with food, and; 7) You are not sure you have eaten, or which meal you missed; 8) You are about to lose one of you physicians because you cannot get there on the right date, the right time, or you keep arriving one day too early; 9) And this is really bad: is there enough gasoline in your car to get you to the doctor and/or to the service station first, and if you do choose to get the gasoline first, will you miss your appointment? However, despite the above, as Kathy says, " growing old is a privilege denied to many, " and of course to all too many with our disease and similar conditions! Just typing out loud, friends, assuming I will have some left after this! Love to all at my favorite lists, n Rojas
