Guest guest
Sue, What condition do you have? Ibuprofen is not for those who have any kind of gut problem as it causes gut bleeding. Acetaminophin is really our best choice. Charlene UC 8 years SCD 5 1/2 years Are there any legal ibuprofen brands? If not, any suggestions about how I can get this type of medicine and keep it SCD legal? thanks sue SCD 4 mths, CC 25 yrs

Guest guest
hi. remember that both ibuprofen and acetaminophen are immunosuppressors, and the effect goes beyond the 4 or 6 hours schedule. so, it is important to try to really limit their use regardless of whether you know on not what kind of gut issues you have. In general for adults.. also, general conditions where inflammation is the problems, whether it was the first problem or a consequence of something else, there are generally gut issues, maybe not so clearly apparent. that is why SCD is so great for those with inflammatory conditions like arthritis, etc. those bugs inside us can do lots of stuff, control inflammation not only in the gut but start chains that go to the brain, bones, muscle etc, they send messages to the brain, control your immune system, the delivery of nutrients and much more. remember that good luck maria, mom to fiol 19mo, all fam on scd > > The ibuprofen is for my husband who is doing SCD for psoriasis.
