Guest guest
I think you're right that it is too small to do the ultrasound, but not closed. My daugther had a giant head that grew quickly. There was some concern of hydrocephalus due to the growth, but no delays. So they chose a cranial ultrasound to have a look. My doc was going to do a CT scan next if needed. At 6 mo they could see well enough that they knew things were fine. My doc felt the CT scan wasn't needed and we could skip the radiation and possible sedation. However lots of babies get scanned to rule out cranio (fusion) and they are fine. When they scheduled the ultrasound they told me it might not work if they couldn't see enough of the brain. -christine sydney, 3 yrs, starband grad > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hanger in Connecticut? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hello Everyone, We live in Connecticut.
