Guest guest
Patti, thanks for this recipe- it looks really good, and I can't wait to try it. A couple of questions, is this a snack, or a side dish for a meal? If you make it up, and put it in the fridge, will it be good the next day? You describe it as sweet candy bombs, but the name of it is popcorn, so is it a sweet thing, or a salty food? Like, if you added a little crushed garlic to the olive oil, would that be gross? Thanks. > > > Cauliflower popcorn (Note: cauliflower is not for newbies) > > Who woulda thunk that cauliflower could actually become addictive? Guest guest
Amber.... I just forwarded the recipe from my saved collection of recipe e-mails, I didn't write it. I don't know if I'd describe them as " sweet " like candy, really. I think it's more savory/yummy, like you get from many vegetables when they're roasted or carmelize in the pan.... carrots and onions do this, too, just from the natural sugars. I actually HAVE added garlic and it's great that way! I think it would be a great snack... though we have generally used this recipe for a meal side-dish. I can't answer the question about keeping them in the fridge for the next day.... we never have any left! My husband (not on SCD) eats anything Katera and I leave behind. Guest guest
Thanks, Patti, I, fortunately, happen to have a head of cauliflower in my fridge right now, so I will try this recipe tomorrow. Thanks, again, Amber. > > Amber.... I just forwarded the recipe from my saved collection of > recipe e-mails, I didn't write it. > > I don't know if I'd describe them as " sweet " like candy, really.
