Guest guest
Suneeti, All the legal Kirkman supplements are listed on the www.pecanbread.com website under " supplements " .... as well as those that are not SCD legal. You may need to swap the Super-NuThera for the plain NuThera. I don't know if this is actually true, but I remember reading that selenium can mobilize or " chelate " mercury.... which I'm not sure is advisable during pregnancy. You mentioned eating sardines in one of your previous posts. My understanding is that sardines (since they are a very small fish and low on the food chain) have nearly the least amount of mercury of all fish. Again, I am not 100% sure about this.... but maybe others can comment. Patti Kirkman lab Vits while pregnant Dear All, Anyone know if the following are contraindicated during preganancy: (These are all from Kirkman Labs and are SCD legal) Phenol Assist Super Nu-Thera Hypoallergenic capsules Selenium Also, if one is not eating gluten or casein, which is the ideal digestive enzyme to get from them? Most seem to be to help digest gluten, casein and gliadin. Well I am trying to follow the GFCF version of SCD, so is it any use to take such a digestive enzyme? Is there any harm in taking their Calcium with Vit D powdered, unflavored instead of in the prenatal? I could get a Prenatal from here in Spain, but I doubt if it will be SCD legal. Many thanks. Guest guest
Hi Suneeti; If you are ordering from Kirkman Labs, I get my prenatal vitamin there - it's called Prenatal Vitamin and it is SCD legal. I also use their Calcium with Vit D powder/unflavoured. If I were you I would use both the prenatal and the calcium supplement. Not sure about digestive enzymes. Hope someone else can help you there... Kim :-) 1 month dairy-free SCD 3 yo ASD, 2 yo NT (with behavioural issues)
