Guest guest
Yes the smell of food can set you off. It gets the pancreatic " juices " flowing. My docs always keep the door closed when I am in the hospital and I hate it. When I asked them about it, they said they did not want me smelling food when the food trays come because it will set the pancresa off. As far as pictures of food go, it would make perfect sense. Afterall, when seeing pictures of food on TV etc doesn't it make one hungry? Makes sense it would get the gastric juices flowing and that pancreas hurting! Hope that helps Kaye - In pancreatitis , " chamberslm2003 " <chamberslm@a...> wrote: > I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.
