Guest guest
Anyone who's worked with Dr. Stelnicki? Any positive or negative comments??? Just curious...we had an appt with him a couple weeks ago and he told us to wait another 2 months (son is 4 months old) to come back to see if he needs a helmet. Thanks in advance! We live in South Florida and we are going to Dr. Stelnicki and Cranial Kids. It seems like the lady at Cranial Kids handles most of the helmet fittings, etc. I think Dr. Stelnicki will check on the progress every now and then. Our son just got his helmet on Wednesday. He is 7 months old. We have also been going to physical therapy for torticollis. He has only had the helmet on for 2 days but we think we are already starting to see a difference! Let me know if you have any questions.
Guest guest
Hi. My daughter just got her helmet off. We went to Dr. Stelnicki's office but never even actually saw him. His assistant Kim and Ari from Cranial Kids took care of everything. I had a really good experience there and would definitely recommend them! Guest guest
My son also was treated by Stelnicki and his staff, but Stelnicki himself saw him multiple times- which I would recommend. Ari is wonderful. Should you decide to use this group, please be aware that they demand cash up front and will provide you with the paperwork needed to bill your insurance yourself- which may result in full claim denial. For us, United Health covered only if we used Hanger, but my husband, an OT, has had bad experiences with Hanger, so we paid the nearly $3000, with no reimbursement at all from insurance. & (14 months, 31 pounds, and a beautiful noggin') ________________________________ From: Plagiocephaly on behalf of amari624 Sent: Sat 3/7/2009 7:57 AM Plagiocephaly Subject: Re: Anyone in the South FL area? Guest guest
Thanks! We saw Stelnicki on our fist visit and he seemed nice and competent. Just wanted feedback from others that have actually started treatment with him. When did you all start treatment, b/c like I said he won't start until 6 months with my son.... > > Anyone who's worked with Dr. Stelnicki? Any positive or negative comments???
