Guest guest
Dear Cheri, I copied the legal and illegal list A thru Z and stapled it together. This made it easier to see what was allowed. Especially with those darn vitamin supplements! Illegals sneak in easily! http://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/legal/legal_illegal_a-c.htm<http://www.b\ reakingtheviciouscycle.info/legal/legal_illegal_a-c.htm> Also, like us, some who come with dairy problems/intolerance/casein sensitivity, later discover that they can tolerate the diary in the 24 hour ferment that SCD requires. We now have been able to successful broaden our horizons to using this wonderful yogurt full of the much needed probiotics! This has been a nice added addition. As the gut heals with SCDiet, Elaine said that many food intolerances vanish. This has been our experience and success too. We now can tolerate both cow and goat. We started first with the goat because it is easier to digest. http://www.pecanbread.com/goatyogurt.html<http://www.pecanbread.com/goatyogurt.h\ tml> Unless it causes a truly undesirable reaction such as anaphylaxis, Elaine said to not cut out a food forever. She told us to try again in a week and see if the problem is gone. The gut heals rather fast when one does SCD correctly. Hope this helps, Antoinette and family of five SCD 2/06 (celiac, malabsorption, add, adhd, autism and more) NEW to SCD Diet We just started this diet on Sunday. I have been either to the health food store, ordering online or to the regular store everyday since Sunday. Any suggestions? Maybe things we can have that I didn't know or can't have that I thought we could... We cannot do dairy. We are still using eggs. Thanks!!
