Guest guest
Hi Patrica, I'm not sure yet of which Dr i'm seeing, I'll find out in about a week and i'll let you know. As far as i know he/she is a surgeon who does ERCP stenting more frequently than my Dr. Jen

Guest guest
Hi Patrica, You are not the only Canadian with this disease. I live in Winnipeg, MB. My Dr tried the stenting here but couldn't do it, so that's why he sending me to Toronto. Have you had your pancreatitis for quite a while? I only started having problems about 6 & 1/2 months ago. But unfortunately i've been hospitalized about 7 times for it since then. They don't even know if the pancreatic divisum is what's causing my pain. I also have really elevated lipase levels. Guest guest
I am not sure that is a good thing or a bad thing. But at present I am seeing Dr Hunchuk for pain mgmt, my gp who has probably been the most helpful and Dr Davies is the pancreatitis specialist who I see.
