Guest guest
Jzin, I just today received my 4yr old DS OAT results and he has yeast and bacteria...what is metronidazole/fluconazole? My son's yeast and other bad bugs (2 Seperate times we checked) did not show up on stool culture but only showed up on Great Plain Lab's microbial OAT test (yeast and clostridia...which we treated with compounded metronidazole/fluconazole simulatenously and resulting in better formed poops) Jzin > > I just got my dd's stool analisis back. Guest guest
*This message was transferred with a trial version of CommuniGate Pro* Thanks Sheila, She was better on scd at first but now she isn't really. The improvement the first couple of weeks was dramatic but pretty much nothing since then. I was doing a trial of cutting out all fruit this past week for the both of us (she still nurses). It didn't seem to make any difference and then when I got the test results on Sat. I decided to go ahead and give her fruit. Sat night was a nightmare! I can't say it was definatly the fruit since I realized tonight that she hasn't been sleeping well since her Chiro visit on Thurs but I think it was worse. Behavior we hadn't seen in ages. Hitting us, even w/o a nap that day fighting sleep. Our neighbor came over she she kept shoving her little girl. (I've never seen her act like that, she usually confines that behavior to us, I guess she is growing up). How can I not feed her any fruit? How is that healthy for her? I have tried the enzymes and given up getting them into her. They cause my liver to hurt and no one knows why so I can't take them and get them into her that way either. Since my liver is questionable most yeast meds are out of the question and she has gotten a rash from nystatin in the past so I can't take that. I'm at my wits end! I expect the naturopath we are seeing will trust the test results but I'm not sure. She is a recent graduate and pretty young so not lots of experience but she is in our Dr's office and on our insurance so it seemed like the right place to start. She is also doing cranial on dd. Not that, that seems to make any difference either. I feel like I am just throwing away our money on this expensive food, suppliments, therapies for all of us and it isn't doing any good. We could all take a vacation to Hawaii and quit all this with the same results we have seen so far. At least I could be exhausted from lack of sleep in a beautiful place... Sigh.
