Guest guest
>Hi , I have a Cuisinart icecream maker and I love it! It is super easy to use. It has a bowl that you put in the freezer and pull out to put the ice cream mix in. You turn it on and that is it! I made the pumpkin icecream on pecan bread which is dairy free and we all loved it! I also made some iceream with the yogurt and it turned out great as well. Good luck! Mandy > Ok, I'm ready to move on to ice cream w/ the yogurt. That is great - that's the one I keep seeing everywhere in the stores ... guess I'll save up my pennies for that. I just NEED to be able to make ice cream, and that would really put a smile on ds's face. Thanks!
Guest guest
You can make the pumpkin icecream without an icecream maker. I tried some with the maker and some without, they both turned out well. I am guessing with some trial and error you could use different fruits or veggies depending on tolerance. Guest guest
" I just NEED to be able to make ice cream, and that would really put a smile on ds's face. " There are a few ice cream recipes on pecanbread.com. None of them requires an ice cream maker. Why don't you try a few of those and see if he likes them and save your $$$ for something else.
