Guest guest
So please help me out. I have no idea how to peel asparagus. Certainly snap off an inch of the bottom end. What else? Rob's mom Pealing and deseeding I was looking at Jody's chart again, and I have what I would consider kind of a goofy question. Are you actually supposed to peal vegies like zucchini, cucumber, and asparagus? What about seeding the zucchini and cucumber. What about peppers? Obviously, you seed them, but pealing? I just want a little more clarification on what vegies must be pealed and deseeded. Thanks. Meleah scd 05/06 iel 3yrs., asd Ethan 5yrs., Mark 1yr. Guest guest
Robin, Asparagus cannot be peeled. It is quite stringy actually. It may be a later food. Zucchini should be peeled. If it is a big one you can seed it but I find with the small ones that's not necessary. English cucumbers should be peeled too but do not necessarily need seeding. I do find that field cucumbers need seeding cause the seeds are so big.
