Anything that is not a medicine!!!! (that would leave good ol condoms) Dr. R

told my husband and I that the BC pills do not absorb or something the 1st

year. He said I could TAKE them, but dont count on them working, so I figured

then why the heck would you take them? He said right. So, a year of condoms!

Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you were facing the birth control issue after you

had your surgery and what method you went with? I am currently on B/C pills

and I know that they will not be as effective after the surgery (which by

the way is this Friday) I thought I would just have the Depo shot but then I

found out that is not as effective either. I don't know what to do in this

situation, I have a three year old son and I am unsure if I want anymore

kids so getting my tubes tied is not really an option for me at this point

(I'm 25). I have researched everything from the IUD to the sponge none of

which seem to be a really good option for me. I am positive I don't want

anymore kids for a good while and with the surgery I can't afford any

accidents. Thanks for your help!!
