Guest guest
Glad to hear Don has found a good ENT. Does Don get the dry flaking skin on his ears? I am very interested in the cream and will ask my Doc about it. Sandy Hi I just thought I let you all know how Don's new ENT Dr. appointment went. GREAT !!!! He is Very knowledgeable about RP he got his internship from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Min. We had a very nice long talk with him and set all our guidelines out. Yes he will see Don when he has any kind Emergencies as long as the are from the Shoulder up because this is his Specialty. He gave Don his own Baseline test today to. He gave Don a 100% examination. He told us the holes inside Don's nose where very small. That was nice to know. Don also has the problem with his ears itching. He said that is common in RP patience. He said it is a skin conditions such as "Eczema " He gave him a cream to use. He is to use it only once a day if the ear is itching. The medicine is " Elocon cream 0.1% " He is to apply a VERY SMALL amount to a cotton tip once a day if its itching. Don's hearing loss is more from his age then the RP. He also stressed how important it is to have a good Eye Dr. too. We both fell very coverable with him. He did say mmm you sure know what RP is all about. LOL Well this is it for today. Hope everyone if felling ok. Love Heidi DISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY.
