hello Deb, and Debbie from Il.

thanks, I really am not trying to be sarcastic. I am just scared and trying

to be as informed as possible. Nothing could be worse than rushing into this

and finding out later it was a big mistake. Imagine having to have it

reversed. How horrible.

It was late last night when I was online, reading all the emails as there

were alot of people up at that hour. Insomnia I guess. If was kidding,

I apologize for calling her on it, but I WAS offended. Some of these people

have been here a long time and know each other very well, some do not. So

maybe everyone should lay off on the sarcasm, this is a very serious issue

here. But thanks to all who were helpful including . I have emailed the

DR and asked him my questions. So no hard feeling I hope.

Kathy, you are SO welcome here. I get a little touchy where is

concerned. I would not have been able to have my MGB if it were not

for her. She is a lawyer and went to bat for me with my insurance

company. You see, I was denied twice and she was able to get it

overturned for me. She is a delightful person, and I'm sure that if

you were to read back through some of her posts, you would see that

she is so smart and funny. You also might want to check out her web

page. She has before and after pictures of MGB folks, as well as

pictures of the scars left by different surgeries. There is a wealth

of information about the MGB on her site. Welcome to the group.

Kathy, Don't mean to harp on the subject, but I gotta put my 2 cents

in! lol My name is Dinah and I am from Alabama. T has never met

me and I had never e-mailed her privately when she offered to help me

with my insurance. She took my plight as well as 5 other Alabamians

under her wing and most of us have had surgery already instead of

still waiting for insurance approval. She did the same for 9 people

from Michigan last month! No one asked her to help. She just wants to

help because she wants everyone to have to opportunity to be as happy

as she is after the mgb! She is a lifesavers and lifts many peoples

spirits when they are down. She would never intentionally make fun be

sarcastic or waste your time. She will help you every time you ask

her and at any time of night! I am 5 days post op and she responded

to my plea for help at 1:30 am this morning! She was joking but ever

helpful.

I know your stress and lots of us have been there! Please don't take

it out on the ones here on this site who can help you the most!

Love ya, Dinah

Where are you in the process anyway?
