Guest guest
You can take your daughter to Cranial Technologies in Pasadena for an evaluation. They make the DOCband and will give you an honest opinion about your daughter's head. Hi, New to the group. Our daughter has a flat spot on the back right side of her head. We took our daughter to a specialist at UCLA, who kind of dismissed our concerns and said that our daughter just had a bit of a flat head. He took an X-Ray and later said the results were fine and that she was healthy. Our Pediatrician recommended that we put a rolled towel under one side of her to keep her off the flat spot. To us, however, there is a noticeable flatness on the one side of her head, and we are concerned that we are losing precious time to correct this. Can anyone recommend a specialist in the Los Angeles area that we could see for a 2nd opinion. Thanks, Rick ------------------------------------ For more plagio info
Guest guest
We're in LA too but have Kaiser so we don't see drs outside that system. I would suggest going to CT in Pasdena to get a free evaluation. They will do a photo study which will really help you see if there is a need for a band. Then you can take that info to your dr to get the RX(if needed). If your dr still won't do it CT may be able to give you a recommendation on a good dr in the area. HTH!
