Joan and ,

I am so proud of the two of you. Do you know what you are doing for yourselves? You will find out very soon as you start to feel good. Be aware you may experience some soreness, maybe a little shortness of breath, and some frustration with yourself. Please persevere! Work through it! It may take a little while, but 2 minutes will progress to three, and so on - you will be amazed with yourself!!

I have had so many people in my classes get discouraged right away and quit, they didn't give their body the time it needed. We have an advantage though - we know our bodies better than they do because we have be in tune with them through our disease. We understand how our bodies act and react (although I'm still learning about that part with the meds!), and we will know the positives that much sooner than they do, because they don't know their bodies and don't give it enough time to learn.

Have faith in yourselves, all of you, that you will be a better, healthier person, able to handle what comes your way. I have been told that if my body hadn't been in good shape, I would have experienced alot more problems and be alot worse off now than I am. Thank God for giving me the direction to stay physically fit because He knew I would have to face this later in life!

Be proud that you have made this commitment to yourself, you will be so happy that you did.

I'm here cheering you on - always!
