I have spent the day with the trying to find out why the feedings

had not been delivered, insurance of course. After 5 phone calls on

just my part they will be delivered tomorrow morning. I contacted

the woman at the hospital who did the discharge arrangements and she

was quite upset, and no doubt made several calls of her own. I

think they are shipping a 30 days supply just so they dont have to

hear fo either she or I. Small price to pay for that much peace.

I had also looked into ailine flights. They have got to be

kidding! For me to fly from here on a tuesday and back on the

thursday would cost $557!!! But if I booked my return flight for

sunday morning it will only be $278 round trip!!! Staying 4 nights

would cost even more. That is such a bunch of BS.

I am glad your TP decision has been put off indefinetly. Then you

can make your other decisions based on like I said before, as if you

never heard of pancreatitis. You are started to sound like you want

the last year at work. You dont, to be realistic, it may take just

that long to train someone to take your place. I dont think they

will ever find someone to fill your shoes!! Besides, they dont

think for one minute that you wont breeze your way through any time

you like!! Now, that will be fun....LLL. That is if they let you

leave after getting all that money, they may just tell you NO, NO

Retirement Disallowed; and never let you leave.

Ok, when I come to London you will have to show me how ya'll

Liverpudlians paint the town red... which sounds more like a beefy

desert.... I bet we would just laugh and laugh. Sounds like ya'll

will have a wonderful time for your birthday, what WEEK, you get a

I dont know how long I will have the tube in, One of the guys said

it was to strengthen me and another said it was to let the pancreas

rest but then told me to eat what I can. I am not hungry though,

it feels like a fairly large bulb in my stomach and it takes up a

lot of space in there. There are 2 caps on the outside gastric-for

my stomache and inside that the tube goes to the jejunum and that is

where the feeding go. It is so disgusting. first chance and its out.

Why are you so concernend with Codeine? It is a good meds that is

cheap and works well for you and you should be happy for that. I'm

glad that your pain is mild and hope and pray, with all my heart

that you dont face this ever. I am keeping my mind busy with the

business of it all but am absolutely terrified.

Tell Jim I appreciate his kind thoughts, he sounds like my kinda

guy. I love old books, and have a few really old ones. Would love

to find a Dickens early edition. or a Playbill from one of hs

talks; thats when we really needed video. Have a wonderful birthday
