Guest guest
Thanks for the tip on Lactaid drops. Unfortunately, they are no longer sold in the US. I can order them from Canada and may try that. The lady at Lactaid was very helpful and mentioned that lactose intolerance is not an all-or-nothing situation. She said Zach may have trouble digesting only certain dairy products and that he may be ok with others. We are going to experiment with doing only one type lactose food every few days and see what works and what doesn't. His bowel movements are now only 1 a day and are brown, not yellow. We hope we are on the right track. Sara - mommy to Zach 16 months
Guest guest
What about the Lactaid chewable tablets? Would Zach be able to use them? I'm surprised the company rep didn't mention that option. They have the chewables in vanilla flavor at http://www.drugstore.com and probably also at local pharmacies, maybe even at Walmart. Good luck. ~ > Thanks for the tip on Lactaid drops.
