Thanks for the tip on Lactaid drops. Unfortunately, they are no

longer sold in the US. I can order them from Canada and may try

that.

The lady at Lactaid was very helpful and mentioned that lactose

intolerance is not an all-or-nothing situation. She said Zach may

have trouble digesting only certain dairy products and that he may

be ok with others.

We are going to experiment with doing only one type lactose food

every few days and see what works and what doesn't.

His bowel movements are now only 1 a day and are brown, not yellow.

We hope we are on the right track.

What about the Lactaid chewable tablets? Would Zach be able to use

them? I'm surprised the company rep didn't mention that option.

They have the chewables in vanilla flavor at

http://www.drugstore.com and probably also at local pharmacies, maybe

even at Walmart. Good luck.
