Guest guest
Lu, I hope you find out good news at your dr appt. Let us know. Hi , The doctor gave my wrist and foot okay's. He told me though to be careful if moving or caring large objects and to wear the splint for extra support then only. My back pain and rib pain : nothing is broken only pulled and sprained. He said that it would take some time to heal. He said sometimes this was worse pain than a break. At this point if I thought a chiropractor could help I would go. But the only time I have been to one, they scared me to death. lol Which was over 20 years ago I guess. Anyone have any views on this? Let me know? Hope everyone is having a great day! Love, Lu

Thanks for the prayers. If my daughter does not understand, then she is not the mother that I think she is. I think she will be a mad at me, but also very protective of her baby. Knock on wood and all that stuff. Love, Sharon ===== __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Lu, great news about your wrist and foot. NOW be SURE to wear those splints!!! Ya hear? I know from experience that torn anything is worse than a break. It takes twice as long to heal. I went to a chiropractor when I was 16 and he did wonders. Only went once. My old PCP was a Osteopath so he could do adjustments. Things were okay and I felt better until he started messing with my neck. Think he did some damage, but could never prove it. He knew I had fused vertibrae and still tried to adjust me. I didn't know at the time that that was a " NO NO " . LOL Also with the Chiari Malformation, it shouldn't have been done. I hear a lot of good and bad. Guess it's who you go to. Good luck and behave yourself and NO more falls. hugs
Guest guest
Thanks , I'm still scared to go to the chiropractor, so I think I'll leave that alone and just let time heal my back. Guest guest
I have been to one before who did the regular manipulation, i am now going to one that uses a pop device. and it works wonders. it is better and safer than regular manipulation. I have had to have 4 of my 7 neck vertebrae popped back in and it works so much better with it. believe me even my oldest daughter who is 16 goes to him, for hers and it is wonderful she went through 7 weeks of pt for her back and shoulder blade and it was getting worse went to this chiropractor and with in 2 wks, she was allnew. Guest guest
Marie Pia, I'm very sorry to hear that Coralie is doing so poorly. I'm glad her spirits are good, but it must be very scary and frustrating for both of you. I saw Lord of the Rings, and the scenery was beautiful! I hope that the movie helped her spirits, and yours too! Take care, you and your entire family are in my thoughts. Please let us know what the team of doctors says. > Dans un e-mail daté du 16/01/02 19:44:21 Paris, Madrid, RCColloran@a... a > écrit : > > > > Marie Pia, How is Coralie doing now. Guest guest
Marie-Pia Give Corlie a gentle big hug for me. Gosh she just needs to stop this flaring that is all there is to it. I will be sending good thoughts and prayers to you, Coralie and your family. It is so hard when you are flaring to function appropriately that is for sure and to have to go to school on top of that must really be rough. Take care and know you are in my thoughts! Lots of love Glenda Coralie is still flaring. The dr; said yesterday she has to go back to hospital soon. He worry about the medications and the advancement of illness.
