Guest guest Posted January 3, 2002 Report Share Posted January 3, 2002 HI Lizz, Dr. T had me on the MTX for my treatments and I had no sever side effects. Once my treatments started and I was flare free for 8 weeks at a time, with every return visit to see him, he reduced the dosage by 2.5 mgs, if I didn't flare. Didn't flare with any of the reducing and have been off of the MTX for over a year and flare free March 1st for 2 years! Hope this helps.
