Guest guest
Today is our second wedding anniversary and we got very good news when we went to Duke today. The CT scan looked " great, " according to Dr. Pappas. The stitches from the surgery came out, the stitches also came out of the wound left by the drainage tube that bled and kept him from getting out on that Saturday, the newer drainage tube came out, and the " packing " came out of the other wound left where the stitches had gotten infected. We just have to keep bandages on them til they heal completely. We celebrated with a fried chicken dinner. Henry's sore where the tube came out today and he's tired, but it was a good day overall. Now he can start gaining back the 15 pounds he's lost since December 5. Dr. Pappas said " Do what you were doing, " which was eating about anything he wanted within reason and taking enzymes before meals. Ginny Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! Psalm 66:
