WOW! I am so happy to be a part of your group. I have

just finished reading all of the E-Mail and am amazed

to find so many caring people in one place. I want to

introduce myself to all of you. My name is Joan, I'm

49 years old, have 3 sons who all live with me. I'm

divorced and have worked since I was 16. I was

diagnosed about 4 months ago. I have had the symptoms

for over 10 years, but was always treated for ear

infections. I have had my share of dose packs over

the years never dreaming that someday I would be on it

forever. I also have hypothroidism and had half of my

thyroid removed. I will have many questions, so

for inviting me to ask. The Prednisone is driving me

crazy. I'm on 30 mg. a day supplemented with

Methyltrexate once a week. I can only manage to work

2 or 3 days a week if I'm lucky. I'm also having to

take 100 mg.Zoloft per day for the depression. Are any

of the rest of you taking meds. for depression? I

didn't mean to make this such a long post. Again

thank you for putting this group together. I look

forward to interacting with such a loving and caring

group.
