A littel info for the pre-ops

ALL: Take copies of your EKG and bloodwork to the hospital with

you. Also, if your insurance required a separate referral for the

hospital (mine did, since the hospital was out of network), take a

copy of the referral. It'll speed things along greatly...you can

call after 3:30 to find out your surgery time, but Dr. Rutledge

requires that ALL patients be there at 7 am, no matter what time

their surgery is.

On another note, I'm getting damned pissed at my bathroom scales--5

days postop and they haven't MOVED....I'm gonna go on the assumption

that they're faulty...surely I can't be the ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD

that this doesn't work for....
