Guest guest
I had a horrible experience in the er as well and get this I was at work, in uniform, at the hospital and went down to the my hospital's er and was still left to rot for hours. You would think that a little professional courtesy at the least. But I guess it goes to show that the ER is a very busy and chaotic place. I was there for 6 hours and still did not have an iv. They did not take one minute to listen to what I said in the brief moments I saw someone. So if they are not going to treat a co-worker, who knows exactly what route to take to make a BIG fuss, with a little extra then it must be in chaos. The docs that came in where great is just seemed like the nurses were chasing thier tails, not enough staff probably. I have to admit I am pretty grateful to my husband as well, he really came through. Even made sure the house was, what I call mother-in-law clean, for the home health nurse. I didn't know he knew there was a " behind the commode " area. The children did tell me to take the crockpot and throw it away, now! Guess they must have had one too many crock pot meals. I hope you both are feeling better and continue to do so. Warmly
