<<Has anyone out there tried Threelac?>>

Threelac has yeast powder in it... which, I believe, renders it illegal on SCD.

I can't find a reference to verify that right at the moment.... so someone else,

please correct me if I'm wrong. Plus, it contains bacterial strains that are

definitely questionable to me.... and way beyond what is recommended for SCD.

So, hopefully, no one here is using it.

<<Do you buy the yougert maker or do you have to special order?>>

I ordered my Yogourmet yogurt maker online. You may be able to find a yogurt

maker in a local store. I couldn't.

<<What do you give them when they're too gassy?>>

Gassiness should be temporary... could be part of die-off symptoms in the

beginning. A bath with epsom salts may help. A hot-water bottle filled with warm

water held to the tummy might make him feel better.

<<My son has sorta been on the SCD since last Sunday, We couldn;t

start with the 5 day diet beacuse he's a very picky eater, I had to

start with legal/illegal list.>>

I'm not sure what you mean about your son " sorta " being on SCD. Do you mean that

other than skipping the intro diet, he is completely, 100% SCD legal since last

Sunday?

If you're skipping intro, just be sure to peel and cook everything... make

everything as easy to digest as possible for him. Don't start advanced foods

like beans and raw fruits or veggies until much later. You may want to go back

and do the intro for a day or two later on.

<<And has anyone exprienced their kids cry alot right before they go to bed,>>

The crying could be related to die-off. Try giving him an epsom salts bath right

before bed.
