Fatty Liver

I have no been DX yet with Pancrreatitis but have allot of things going on and

so fourth and have learned allot from this group.

I have been told I have a fatty liver from my ultrasound but on my CT says it is

normal, go figure but anyways. They say my liver is 21.5 cm and I think normal

is 13 if I am correct. Well anyways, this whole thing with the fatty liver has

be worried and I am not sure if this is normal for a obese person to have a

fatty liver. My weight is 320 and I am 6 feet tall, the Dr says I need to lose

weight and I know that but I wonder is my liver a serious problem, will I have

liver failure due to my liver being so enlarged cause of my weight or is this

just something I live with. I tried to talk to some other Dr's cause my dr is on

vacation and they will not tell me nothing. I told them that my ALT and things

where normal and I was tested for Hep c and so fourth and that was all normal.

So I am not sure what to think and I guess I got my mind wondering cause I just

read in the paper where I live that some lady that is 36 years old just died

from liver failure, but not sure how long she had it or anything about her

circumstance at all.

I just wish I could get answers from these Dr's but they will not tell me crap.

Well I guess I have complained enough for now about the medical Dr's and not

knowing anything, if anyone can relate or feel they can answer what I have to

ask, please do so. I love to have some input on this fatty liver in all. I know

I need to lose weight and I am trying but not having no luck, also I thought

about have the surgery done but not hearing much on that either.

Thanks all and Hugs !
