Meg,

We live in a super-dry (but not quite so cold!) place too.

We'd been having terrible problems with dry skin and hair

until we finally got some humidifiers for our bedrooms.

Do you have them? If not, you can get one for under

$50 and it may really help! (But read the directions:

we had ours on full-blast, which is apparently not what

you are supposed to do. Once we turned it down it worked

better.)

That is such awesome correction you got! I think I may

have commented on this in a previous post. After 6 weeks

in a Star band we are down from 11mm to 2mm, which is

great too, of course, but we are still working on brachy.

- thanks for the tip! We did get a humidifier for her room a few weeks ago

and it

may be helping a little - but not great and it runs 24/7 on the low setting. The

aquaphor

has worked the best out of the 5 or so baby dry skin products I have tried! I am

just

waiting for some warmer weather so her poor skin can have a break.

Yea, we were SUPER happy with her correction! I am so glad we went ahead and did

the

band, even though initially I was not looking forward to it, I now have no

regrets and

would do it all over again.

Good luck getting the brachy improved quickly!
