We are still waiting on the Ambry test kit. They were supposed to have sent it second day but sent it ground instead. It would have been nice to have had it yesterday or today because I was in the office and my boss could have done the blood draw... Now we have to go to the hospital for the blood draw, which is a pain. I hope we have it tomorow though! Then we have 2-3 weeks of limbo left. Liba, mommy to Zlata Tova (5 w/pancreatic insufficiency, asthma and food allergies) and Tziporah Faiga (2.5 recent oxygen saturation problems which aren't cardiac, but hopefully healthier than her sister!) Guest guest
Hi Liba, your daughters are really cute! Somehow I have missed where you all are from respectively where your ancestors are from. Guest guest
Torsten, We all live in Massachusetts, and our ancestors are eastern european, of Jewish descent. From what I have heard that should narrow down our CF gene mutation search. We were tested premaritally for the 6 most common Jewish CF genes that they knew of 7 years ago... We didn't get results, they only tell you if you are both carriers which is stupid considering what we have learned now. Liba > > Hi Liba, > > your daughters are really cute!
