Hi Sara,

I wasn't sure if you knew this trick so just in case, I thought I'd

throw it out here.

An easy way to boost calories, protein, carbs, and calcium of those

canned shakes, Scandishakes, and homemade milkshakes is to add some

powdered nonfat dry milk to it.

And you can make " Super Milk " for drinking and cereals. Just mix one

3.2 oz. packet of nonfat instant dry milk with two quarts of milk

instead of water (whatever you buy, either whole, 2% or whatever) and

shake it up.

Each 8 oz. serving of " Super Milk " now has 40.75 calories, 0.08 grams

fat, 47.5 grams carbs, 3.98 grams protein, and 140 mg. calcium MORE

than whatever milk you were using before you made it " super. "

You can even sprinkle a bit of powdered milk into those snack pack

type pudding cups.
