LOL I'm so glad that your ears are better. You are right about in the beginning just being in pain and dumb. LOL I thought, how bad can a red ear be??? Sure it hurts, but no big deal. Then the fear sets in. We just have to remember to stop that flare as fast as it shows it's ugly little head. LOL Have a good day Squeek and know I'm thinking bout you. Let me know how youa re doing. I didn't ask for the pointy shoes....how about a nice padded slipper for kicking my tush? My ears are better this morning after being totally out of control by last night. Had to finally add another 2 mg of pred cause I was in tears by dinner time. I think I figured out the depression thing, and that is what I know now about RP makes the ear flares seem so much more serious than that first major one. Then I knew nothing about RP so I was dumb and happy, in horrible pain, but was not afraid. Now, with a major flare like I had the past three days, I know that it is serious, and it does scare me. It seems that I am so much medication I should never flare! Anyway, the great news is that my ears have settled down a lot. The other good thing out of this is that when I see my PCP tomorrow, I will have added incentive to get him to order up some testing for me! When I am feeling good, it is easier to let things slide. Take care and keep reading! Oh, have you read " Tell No One " by Harlan Coben? Just finished it and enjoyed it a lot. Plenty of twists and turns and it kept me guessing. Love, squeek ===== __________________________________________________
