If it makes you feel any more secure, my husband is a physician, and I showed him all of my research, and we talked it over for hours and hours, until we were both utterly convinced that this was the right step. I also contacted Duke University Diet and Fitness, where I had been a repeat client of several years' standing, and the head of their Behavioral department thoroughly recommended the procedure. In fact, she was leaving her job there to set up a practice counseling weight loss surgery patients! DFC are the ultimate advocates of low-fat eating and exercise, so I put a lot of stock in their opinions. I am thinking of you, and hoping for the very best. Please keep me posted.
