Hi everyone-We are ready to make nut flour items (ie, muffins,

cookies, etc.) I looked at the old messages for a vanilla extract

recipe, which will take anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months. I saw a

post regarding Frontier vanilla extract. Is that gluten-free as well?

Also, what brand of baking soda is everyone using?

Thanks.

Yes, Frontier vanilla extract is fine. I think I read they have some

other extracts that may not be. Flavorganics is another good brand.

All baking soda is fine. It's just sodium bicarbonate whether you buy

Arm and Hammer or the store brand.

Happy baking!

Thanks !! As an experienced cook, can you tell me how to cook

butternut squash. I see that it's in several baking recipes. I

have never cooked one before. Thanks again.
