Glenda, did your jaw deterioration happen because of RP? My dentist prescribed

Perio-Max, a swish and rinse liquid to help my teeth and gums withstand the

damage that all these drugs can do. He said it's pretty standard for chemo

patients. I haven't had any problems yet (where's that wood).

Hope you continue to mend. I just can't imagine much slowing you down. I'm

envious!

I also use Perio-max and I still lost a huge amount of jaw bone over the past year.

However, I have not gotten any infections.

My Dentist feels the long term use of Pred. has a lot to do with the loss of jaw bone.
