Guest guest
Kara Everyone please answer. Here is what I think. That carageean sea weed has a bad bacteria and makes that particular turkey applegate farms illegal. There are a limited number of applegate farms lunch meats that are legal. I understand that the roast beef is legal. Also the " stadium " hot dogs are legal. Not the other types of applegate farms hot dogs. I think they have the sea weed again but cant temember why those other hot dogs are a no. Everyone please weigh in with what you know on this issue. Thank you Rob's mom Applegate Farms I have read on another forum that Applegate Farms Smoked Turkey is legal but it has Carageenan in it. They said it was listed on the Pecanbread site but I can't find anything specific just a link to the Applegate farms website. Are some of these meats SCD legal? (packing for trip tomorrow and could really used a simple meat option). Thanks, Kara
Guest guest
Here's what I think, On page 71 of BTVC, Elaine warns about foods on websites. Applegate has changed it's formulas a few times. The parents are so anxious to have legal deli. I gave up on chasing down store bought foods when Big s in Toronto refused to disclose the spice mixture in their sugar and grain free wieners and deli meats. We corresponded with Applegate when they recently reverted back to sugar free. There was a transition period and list members say the " friendly " stuff is now on shelves. Enjoy my share as I'm leaving it there. Even Digestive Wellness has made some boo boos over the years. I always praise J.Gourmet stuff which IS legal, but guess what, there is something in it that isn't right for me. If I needed meat to travel I would used sliced roast beef or sliced roast homemade chicken or turkey. Prosciutto is one deli meat that is legal. Ingredients, pork and salt. If in doubt, leave it out. > Kara > Everyone please answer. Here is what I think. That carageean sea weed > has a bad bacteria and makes that particular turkey applegate farms > illegal.
