Kathy, I actually have in my 'packet' a letter from my orthopedic surgeon

that my degenerative arthritis is a mechanical problem due to the years of

stress on my joints from my weight,and that WLS should relieve my problem in

entirety.Why don't you also ask your physician that treats your

arthritis,mine said I will no longer need the Relafen I take daily! Janet
