To all those who have decided to join the exercise group just want

to say that if you are going to walk, please, start out slowly. A

person doesn't have to speed walk to get the benefits of walking. A

little ways each day is great and slowly increase the distance. I

use a cane when I go because I am sometimes unsteady on my feet,

plus, it is great for beating off the dogs if there are any running

loose in the neighbor hood. LOL. Actually, I am so scared of dogs

that if I see one a block a way I turn around and go the other

direction. Glad to see so many in the group who are already into

some form of exercise. I can't begin to say how much better I feel

when I do it. Have been at it for 15 years and don't plan to quit

till I simply can't get out of bed.
