Guest guest
, I do not take Nexium because my insurance won't cover it. I have checked it out though and one of the side effects can be abdominal pain. Have you tried Prilosec? That one works for me. Hope you get to feeling better. Hugs, Sandy I have been having alot of stomach pain and nausea. I went to my PCP on wed and he changed me from Prevacid to Nexium. I took it yesterday. I was sick all day. Worse then before. Pain was almost unbearable. Does anyone have any experience with Nexium? If I'm not on line for a few days, it will be because I'm either in bed or trying to kill a dr. LOL I am going to try it again today and if the same thing happens, I won't take it any more. Hope you all have a nice weekend. I'm going to try. It is so FOGGY I can't see my fence or the neighbors house across the street. Think I will just stay home and make a big pot of soup. know I love ya allhugsDISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY. Guest guest
, I had the same experience with Prevacid. Terrible stomach pain. Then they figured out that the pain in my throat was RP and not reflux and I didn't have to take it anymore. I hope that the pred doesn't start to bother my stomach, as I don't know what I would take. I know that there are other meds. Don't know why it has started now. I took another Nexium today, but I waited until lunch and took it with food. It helped alot. Not too much pain. I will continue through the weekend and hope it works, if not I will get something else on Mon. There are so many meds to help us, I'm sure they would come up with something. LOL I was dx with reflux many years ago and it has been quiet for many years. I've just had my Lungs, throat, ears, nose, heart and everything else check and it all seems to be find. That is wonderful news to me. My heart is the only thing that they are worried about for now and it is minor. Have a great weekend hugs
Guest guest
, I am on nexium and at first I had stomach ach but has gone away. No problems with it now. If you are, maybe you should try something else. You dont need anything to upset your stomach. Hope you feel better soon.
