Guest guest
My daughter's doctor just switched her from Creon 10 to Pancrearb MS-8. This was done over the phone and through the mail and I have a question. The bottle says for her to take five pancrecarbs with a meal and four with a snack, which is the same dosage she took of Creon 10. For some reason, I thought she'd need less of the new enzymes. Does anyone know? The levels of lipese, protease and anylase are similar in the two, though not identical. Also, she was taking prilosec twice a day before, and I assume she doesn't need to do that now? I'll call the clinic tomorrow, but I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts. Also, I should mention that her enzymes were changed due to frequent bowel movements and lots of stomachaches. By the way, Mycah is six. Lori in Florida grosehsd@...
