Guest guest
Okay, all, big question/concern: given that post surgery we are limited in the amount of food and liquid we can consume within a given period, how does one remain adequately hydrated? I really want to have the MGB - I've started the process with my PCP and I'm working on my packet - but I'm really concerned about this. I'm a singer/actor, and during rehearsals I often drink a couple of liters of water (dance rehearsals and working under the lights during performance are even worse!) I mean, I dehydrate really easily, and I'm panicking that with the surgery I won't be able to consume enough liquid to keep from graying-out or getting dizzy. Any athletes or fellow performers out there who've had to deal with this issue? Will it improve as I get thinner (not needing as much liquid, I mean?)
