Dear Kimber,

Thank you for the kind remembrance and welcome home to PAI. I appreciate

how so many folks old and new have welcomed me back into the fold. It's nice

to meet all of the new folks and renew old freindships. So much has happened

in almost three years for everyone of us. I have also wondered about you and

so many others here during my absence. I felt lonely without the group.

I'm sad to hear that you are still having such a hard time and had to be in

the hospital over Christmas. Please don't apologize for missing my post. You

were in the hospital, so there was little chance you could know that. How

long did you have to be in? Are you on solids, full liquids, clear, or what

now? I hate being in at Christmas. I got lucky this year and missed it by

several days. Last year when I was in at Christmas, MUSC had arranged for

people to come by the rooms and sing Christmas Carols while holding little

battery powered candles. I felt pretty rough, but it still was appreciated.

I'm glad that you got out in time for the New Year.

Well Kimber, thank's again for the friendly greetings and I hope that

yøu are recovering well from your latest attack, and can stay out of the

hospital more in 2004. Please update me (when you are up to it) on what's

been happenning with your pancreatitis while I've been away. For now take it

easy and try and get your strength back. Happy New Year! :-)

Your Old Pancreas Pal,

Henry
