was not diagnosed until he was 20 months old. We got 'lucky'

when, by chance visiting my family on vacation, a small town country

doc looked at him for 30 seconds, asked us a couple questions, then

blurted out - " Has he ever had a sweat test? " . That doc has seen a

couple CF'ers before, our big city Chicago doctors said " the odds

against a CF child not be diagnosed at birth are so high, he doesn't

recommend a sweat test " . Trust your own judgements, get a sweat

test.
